Taxis cannot collect from the entrance to The Walled Garden unless special arrangements have been made with your Event Manager for guests with mobility difficulties, all other collections must be arranged from the designated area located at the end of the entrance driveway immediately next to the car park.

Due to the close proximity of wildlife and livestock we request that chinese lanterns and fireworks are not used.
With slopes from the car parks and easy over door frames & slopes into the walled garden all guests should be accommodated for. Should you require any extra assistance, please do not hesitate to ask one of team.
Yes, we are clearly signposted from all routes, so although secluded rest assured your guests will arrive.

Yes, we have a spacious car park just at the end of the drive on the left as you arrive. Signage directs you out of the car park on foot to the entrance to The Walled Garden and Cider Barn just past the formal lawn and pond on your right.
Parking is plentiful at Upton and drivers can leave vehicles overnight. The facilities are open the following day and we kindly request you to collect your vehicle the following day before 10:30am.
Yes, we have parking space and a turning point for coaches. There is a restricted bridge en route to Old Hill up to Upton but you can arrive via Post Cross, from the Honiton Road direction too.
Cash and cards (apart from American Express) are accepted at the bar. Although we do not have a cash machine on site, there are banks in the town centre if you need to get to one.
The bar is open half an hour before guests arrive and closes at midnight
Absolutely, The Press bar is over two levels so you can relax on the comfortable seating of the upper area, of get toasty seated down by the wood burner in the lower section. There are of course lots of outdoor seating in the Walled Garden for balmy evenings for those not wishing to hit the dancefloor all night.
